Damon Albarn revealed that Gorillaz new album will be potentially out in 2016 and the next The Good, the Bad & the Queen album is already written, and just needs to be recorded.

Blur frontman – while touring to support his solo debut album, the excellent ‘Everyday Robots’, which was released in April – gave an interview with The Sydney Morning Herald, and put clear that the rumours about the supposes band’s demise back in 2011, and that he is currently working on ‘reactivating’ Gorillaz project.

The Good, the Bad & the Queen is a project that included members Albarn, Paul Simonon,  Simon Tong, Tony Allen and producer Danger Mouse which only recorded a much acclaimed unnamed album, ‘The Good, the Bad & the Queen’ in 2007.

About Blur, he says: ‘I would imagine there’s some kind of future, but at the moment there’s no time for the future – only the present. Who knows? I’m reluctant to say anything, because if I do, it just gets taken out of context and then I’m accused of being a wind-up.’
