2024 is shaping up to be a great year for the Seattle band. Pearl Jam dropped their 12th album, “Dark Matter”, on April 19, 2024, and they’ll be taking it on the road for a world tour this year.

“Dark Matter” was recorded in just three weeks in 2023 with the help of multi-Grammy award-winning producer Andrew Watt. Watt is credited with the album’s quicker turnaround compared to their previous release, “Gigaton”, in 2020.

The new album is said to be significantly heavier than fans might expect, but hey, that’s not a bad thing! “Dark Matter” has received universal acclaim and is being praised as one of the band’s best albums in the last 25 years.

Back in February, Pearl Jam announced they would embark on a 2024 world tour to promote “Dark Matter”. Since then, they’ve released three singles from the album: Dark Matter, Running, and the most recent, Wreckage.

You can now listen to the album on all your favorite streaming platforms and enjoy the revitalized sound of the “old-timers,” Pearl Jam.
