Armin van Buuren: the Leader of Trance

A familiar name within the world of DJs is Armin van Buuren. He uses his DJ gear to create innovative remixes in the trance genre. He was born in Leiden, in the Netherlands, and was actually busy obtaining his law degree during his younger years. Van Buuren’s interest in DJing didn’t come out of the blue.

He also was inspired by other artists like Jean-Michel Jarre and Ben Liebrand. During his student life, van Buuren worked as a DJ in Club Nexus, playing multiple sets a week. With high-quality DJ speakers, he can produce stunning sounds during his live performances. Aside from being a DJ, Skrillex is also skilled in singing and playing the guitar and has been in a band.

He also collaborated with other DJs, such as Boys Noize and Diplo. Another interesting fact is that he also created tracks for video games like Far Cry 3 and composed songs and scores for movies such as Wreck-It Ralph.
