Queens Of The Stone Age recently announced new dates for their 2025 tour. This update follows the cancellation of their 2024 tour, a necessary step for frontman Josh Homme to receive urgent medical care and undergo surgery.

In 2023, the singer-guitarist revealed that he was diagnosed with unspecified cancer the year prior, but a few months later, he disclosed that he was cancer-free. With a focus on Josh Homme’s recovery, the band is set to bring their high-energy performances back to the stage.

The band previously stated on Josh Homme’s condition: “Josh has been given no choice but to prioritize his health and to receive essential medical care through the remainder of the year.” All their festival dates were canceled, while their headline shows in several US cities were postponed to 2025.

Homme and co. released their eighth and most recent studio album, “In Times New Roman,” last summer. It marks the conclusion of the band’s trilogy of albums released through Matador, which began with “…Like Clockwork (2013)”. Additionally, they recently headlined Download Festival 2024 and appeared at Hellfest, showcasing their continued prominence on the global music stage.
