Iron Maiden is wrapping up their “The Future Past World Tour 2024” by the end of the year. As this chapter closes, a new one begins: Heavy metal legends have announced the UK and European dates for their 50th-anniversary tour, including a special performance at London Stadium.

This world tour kicks off on May 27th next year in Budapest, Hungary, followed by 27 more shows in stadiums, festivals, and arenas across Europe. For this series of concerts, Iron Maiden is preparing “a very special set list, covering their first nine studio albums, from Iron Maiden to Fear Of The Dark” between 1980 and 1992. This period includes the classics “Run To The Hills,” “The Trooper,” “Can I Play With Madness,” and “Bring Your Daughter… To The Slaughter.”

Iron Maiden has revealed only the UK and European dates for the tour between May and August 2025. Further dates for the rest of 2025 and 2026 are expected to include North America and other continents.

Quoted in the promoter’s press release, Iron Maiden’s vocalist Bruce Dickinson assures, “Next year is a very special one for Iron Maiden,” promising “giving our fans a once-in-a-lifetime live experience.” “If you’ve seen us before, then get ready to take that experience to a whole new level. If you’ve never seen us before, then what the hell have you been waiting for? Now’s your chance to find out what you’ve been missing! Iron Maiden’s definitely gonna get ya!“.

Iron Maiden Opening Acts Tour 2025

American rock band Halestorm, established in 1997 by the sibling duo Lzzy and Arejay Hale, will join as special guests for the first half of the 2025 Iron Maiden Tour. Celebrated for their Grammy-winning track “Love Bites (So Do I),” they will appear at the outdoor shows in London and Dublin, although they won’t be featured in the UK arena performances.

Sweden’s Avatar, known since their 2001 formation for merging groove metal with avant-garde elements, will take the stage for the second half of the tour. Their theatrical live shows and concept-driven albums have carved out a distinctive niche within the metal community.

Additionally, the British metal band The Raven Age will open all shows in the UK and Ireland, bringing their dynamic and powerful metal anthems to the stage.
