Deftones are set to hit the road again in 2025, joined by The Mars Volta and Fleshwater, for a much-anticipated tour—their first North American run since 2022, starting in February 2025.
This announcement follows some killer summer shows, including Primavera and last month’s Golden Gate Park spectacular with SOAD.
Deftones will launch the 2025 tour at Portland’s Moda Center on February 25. From there, they’ll play iconic venues like the Kia Forum in Los Angeles and Madison Square Garden in New York before closing the tour at Boston’s TD Garden in April. The tour will span over a month and a half of performances.

Formed in 1988 in Sacramento, California, Deftones has become one of the most influential bands in alternative metal. Known for their genre-blending sound, they achieved mainstream success with albums like White Pony. Despite the tragic loss of original bassist Chi Cheng in 2013, the band continued to grow.
In 2022, longtime bassist Sergio Vega departed after over a decade with the group, citing his status as a contract member as a factor. He was replaced by touring bassist Fred Sabian.
Twenty-four years after the release of White Pony, Deftones have maintained a strong connection with younger generations, including Gen-Z and Gen Alpha fans, who discover their music through platforms like TikTok. Their most recent album, Ohms, was released in 2020, and frontman Chino Moreno confirmed that the band is currently deep into recording its next release.
With a career spanning over three decades, Deftones continues to deliver powerful live performances and critically acclaimed music.
