Oasis has finally ended years of speculation by officially confirming their long-awaited reunion tour, set for 2025. This will be the band’s first tour since their split in 2009, and it promises to be one of the decade’s most anticipated live music events.
The “OASIS LIVE ’25” tour will kick off in Cardiff on July 4, 2025, at the Principality Stadium. It will then move to Manchester’s Heaton Park, London’s Wembley Stadium, Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium, and Dublin’s Croke Park. These 14 shows in the UK and Ireland will be their only European dates for the year, with plans to extend the tour to other continents later in 2025.
Oasis announced the reunion on social media, accompanied by a nostalgic promotional video featuring iconic moments from their past. The message, “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised,” sent excitement across their global fanbase.
“This is it, this is happening”

Fans should stay tuned, as additional dates may be added depending on demand. Given Oasis’s massive impact on the music scene and the length of time since their last performance, these concerts are expected to be a significant event, not just for the band but for the entire music industry.
Why Did Oasis Break Up in 2009?
Oasis’s split in 2009 culminated in years of tension between Noel and Liam Gallagher. The final straw came on August 28, 2009, at the Rock en Seine festival near Paris. The band was scheduled to perform, but midway through Bloc Party’s set, frontman Kele Okereke and their tour manager Peter Hill announced that Oasis would not be taking the stage.
Later that evening, Noel Gallagher posted a statement on the band’s website: “It is with some sadness and great relief… I quit Oasis tonight. People will write and say what they like, but I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer.” Noel cited “verbal and violent intimidation” as key reasons for his departure, signaling that the brothers’ relationship had reached an irreparable point.
Following Noel’s departure, Liam and the remaining band members continued under Beady Eye, releasing two studio albums before disbanding in 2014. This period marked the end of Oasis as the world knew it, leaving a void in the rock scene that many fans have dreamed of seeing filled once again.
The 2025 reunion tour now offers a chance for the Gallagher brothers to share the stage once more, sparking hope that they can rekindle the magic that made Oasis one of the defining bands of the ’90s. Whether this reunion marks a new beginning or a final farewell remains to be seen, but one thing is sure: Oasis is back, and the world is watching!
