With the new year fast approaching, it can only mean one thing – another 12 months chock full of top music for us to enjoy. Already some of our favourite bands and artists have been making some noise about what to expect from them in 2015, and the anticipation has started to build.

Here are just some of the artists expected to release a top record in 2015:

The Libertines
As yet an untitled collection of songs, the Likely Lads are set to return next year with some brand new material for us to enjoy. Carl Barat has announced that he and Pete Doherty have been in Thailand finishing up the recording of the new tracks, so expect an album to appear at some point in 2015.

Madonna
Her Madgesty hasn’t released a record in a while now, so this one’s certainly going to be a treat for fans. Already confirmed are collaborations with Disclosure, Blood Diamonds and MNEK, which are sure to intrigue our ears next year!

Adele
There’s not much in the way of specifics on this one, but Adele’s industry bosses at XL let it slip that a brand new record from the artist would definitely be hitting our shops and iTunes at some times in the next 12 months.

The XX
It’s hard to believe these Mercury winners are only on LP number 3. Havign recorded in Iceland, London and Texas, we anticipate the new record full of multicultural influences.

Radiohead
Thom Yorke et al have been quiet of late so a new record in the New Year will be warmly welcomed. The band have been in the studio since September so we shouldn’t have to wait long on this one.

Florence and the Machine
Another female set to make a comeback next year is Florence Welch and her notorious Machine. As last much-acclaimed album Ceremonials was released in 2011, the new record has been a few years in the making so should be worth the wait.

Charlie XCX
We can expect the new album from one of this years’ rising stars to land on our laps sooner rather than later. The expected release date is January 26th so we can party to it all year long.

That’s just our top 10 of what to expect – there are already hundreds of rumors flying round the music mill over who will or won’t release a chart smashing record in 2015. There’s even talk of Fleetwood Mac releasing some new material!

But it’s not all about the music, a new year brings plenty of new concepts, products, gadgets and entertainment. Even new bingo sites can be found here! So no matter how you plan to keep yourself amused next year, rest assured there will be something new on its way to keep you happy!
