Pink Floyd’s new album ‘The Endless River’ is coming out Nov. 10, but you can listen to the newly ‘Allons-y (1)’ right now.
Like almost the 18 songs on the album, it’s an instrumental track that began to take form in 1993 when the group was putting together its last album, ‘The Division Bell’.
The group has shared the song which can be accessed by Spotify users below:
The album is a tribute to former keyboardist Richard Wright, who died in 2008, as we can read on the band’s website:
‘The Endless River is a tribute to Rick Wright, whose keyboards are at the heart of the Pink Floyd sound…It is a mainly instrumental album with one song, ‘Louder Than Words,’ (with new lyrics by Polly Samson), arranged across four sides and produced by David Gilmour, Phil Manzanera, Youth and Andy Jackson.’
