It’s the time of the year when we listen to music in enormous portions, but with so many albums of so great quality, who doesn’t hear?

We’ve already got SPINPasteQ and Mojo lists of the Best Albums of 2013 and now here’s the one from  Rolling Stone which this year reward ‘Modern Vampires of the City’, by Vampire Weekend, followed by the controversial Kanye West’s ‘Yeezus’. The bronze medal goes to the sales champion Random Access Memories’ by Daft Punk. Rolling Stone  Top 10 also includes John Fogerty, Paul McCartney, Lorde and the indie rock bands Arcade Fire, Arctic Monkeys and the hard rockers Queens of the Stone Age.

The year 2013 was full of big releases, had rock, rap, hip-hop, electronic, alternative and even pop wich have other names not very present in the so called “mainstream” music industry, like the ‘Bangerz’, the new album by Miley Cyrus, the newcomer Lorde who took a creditable 7th place ..
