Lou Reed Last Interview

When the news began to cycle through social networks, a lot of people went into chock not resisting submit a comment like: ‘It had to be on a Sunday Morning’, a reference to the classic opening track on their 1967 debut album The Velvet Underground & Nico.

The last work of Lou Reed was the photo book ‘Transformer’ with pictures taken by Mick Rock, who was also the author of the artwork cover from Lou Reed  ‘Transformer’ album. This book hit the stores for the price of 400 pounds!

On September 21, an already weakened Lou Reed sat down with the director of Rolling Stone Farida Khelfa for what would become the final interview. A conversation motivated by the relationship with the sound: ‘The sound is more than noise,’ defined Lou Reed.

The musician passed away on October 27 complained of the sound of the CD’s and comparing Beethoven to hip hop. Both, defended, have ‘a powerful bass’.
