The successor of the acclaimed Queen of Denmark comes out on 11 March, but you already can hear it on musiclipse.com

Pale Green Ghosts is the second solo album from the former lead singer of the Czars, John Grant. With edition scheduled for March 11, it was recorded in Reykjavik, capital of Iceland, with Birgir Thórarinsson (aka Biggi Veira) of Gus Gus and some local musicians.

The Irish Sinéad O’Connor collaborates in the album that consists of 11 tracks, where you can hear Ernest Borgnine, a song about HIV – John Grant was diagnosed HIV positive in early 2011. ‘It was a really, really dark time’,  he once says.

The title of the new album, Pale Green Ghosts, refers to the Russian olive trees line the highway in near his family home in Parker, Colorado.
