What a confusion that goes in here. After the collaboration between R.E.M and Patti Smith for Blue, one of the best songs from the latest album from the North American band before the breakout. Now we can see James Franco directing the video, Terry Richardson on photograph and Lindsay Lohan as a special guest.
R.E.M`s frontman Michael Stipe invites various film-makers to make a video for each track from Collapse Into Now, it’s called the Collapse Into Now Project. The video for Blue has finally emerged 18 months after the album has been released. In the video Richardson takes pictures of Lindsay, while James Franco wears a blond wig, red lipstick and blue eyes. Franco, who is a good friend of Lohan`s, signed on to direct two videos for the album.
