It is with great pleasure that we announce here at musiclipse, the nominees to the Mercury Prize for 2012.
We were also relieved, because we know that this award continues to maintain its prestige and credibility, in other words, we found that distance which separates the Mercury from MTV and Brit awards.
After the well deserved win of PJ Harvey last year, here’s the list of the albums to the highest award of the most recent music, with an indication of the favourite , to succeed Let England Shake.

Regardless of the winner, for these artists it is already a great win and a reason to be proud being on this list, and for them congratulations for enriching the current music panorama.
The winner will be known on November 1st, and besides this prestigious award,
will also receive £ 20 000.
