U2 New Album Delayed Until 2015

The postponement is due to the tight schedule of the band, said Billboard Magazine.

U2 spent 2014 gearing up for the release of their thirteenth album: a Super Bowl commercial, an appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s first Tonight Show and an Oscars performance of ‘Ordinary Love’ .

We’ve been updating this new album since the end of 2013: in October was noticed that the new album will be release on the Spring of 2014, than in November, reports surfaced that it would be out by April. Now in March is time for the worst of the updates – U2 are reportedly delaying the release of their next album until 2015, because the group has scheduled sessions with producers Ryan Tedder and Paul Epworth.

An anonymous source have said: ‘It seems to be taking longer for them to finish an album as they get older, but the great thing about U2 is that the whole of a record is always better than the sum of its parts…That magic that the band always seems to capture. . . they have yet to capture it.’

Bad news folks…but you can watch by now their last appearances on promoting the album with ‘Ordinary Love’ and ‘Invisible’.

UPDATE: Let the soap opera begin! Last Friday Billboard ensured by a secure source that the Irish band had added new recording sessions with Ryan Tedder and Paul Epworth. Thus, the successor of ‘No Line On The Horizon’ would only arrive next year. So, there’s another surprise source that has denied all to the the Guardian: ‘U2’s album is planned for this year, is still on track and touring plans haven’t been confirmed yet’.

I’m looking forward for the next chapters …
