The 10 Most Anticipated Albums of 2015
In this post, we’he listed 10 albums that we’re looking forward to hearing most than anything else this year. Some of these albums have definite release dates others are subject to change.

10 – Faith No More – (TBA)
Faith No More have unleashed ‘Motherfucker,’ the first single from their upcoming seventh studio album, and their first studio recording since the band disbanded in 1998. In November last year, Faith No More revealed that their new material was influenced by The Cramps, Link Wray and Siouxsie and the Banshees.
9 – Modest Mouse – (‘Strangers To Ourselves’ / March, 3)
After an eight year hiatus, Modest Mouse will return in March 2015 with a new LP titled ‘Strangers to Ourselves’. On December 15, 2014 the band released their lead single ‘Lampshades on Fire’, a track that’s been in heavy rotation in Modest Mouse’s setlists dating back to 2011.
8 – Grimes – (TBA)
Claire Boucher—aka Grimes—has revealed, in a recent interview, that the ‘Visions’ follow-up she had been working on ‘sucked, so I threw it out and started again.’ On June 26, 2014, Grimes premiered her new track “Go” featuring Blood Diamonds in Zane Lowe’s Radio 1 show. On August 21 she posted a teaser for the video, directed by her and her brother, for ‘Go’.
7 – Father John Misty – (‘I Love You, Honeybear’ / February, 10)
The former Fleet Foxes member Josh Tillman-aka John Father Misty-has announced the follow-up to his acclaimed 2012 album ‘Fear Fun’. ‘I Love You, Honeybear’ is the name of his second studio album, to be released on February 10, 2015 on Sub Pop. Produced by both Tillman and Jonathan Wilson, this is Tillman’s second studio album since his departure from Fleet Foxes.
6 – Frank Ocean – (TBA)
The follow up of 2012’s Grammy-winning ‘Channel Orange’ is expected to be release this year. Frank Ocean new album will count with artists such as With Hit-Boy, Rodney Jerkins, Happy Perez, Charlie Gambetta and Kevin Ristro. For now you can listen Frank Ocean’s Atmospheric New Song ‘Memrise’.
5 – Twin Shadow – (‘Eclipse’ / March, 17)
George Lewis Jr. has confirmed that the follow up to 2012’s ‘Confess’ will be called ‘Eclipse’, and it comes out March 17 via Warner Bros. Meanwhile Twin Shadow frontman has dropped a video for the new single ‘Turn Me Up’ directed by Alex Turvey.
4 – James Blake – (TBA)
Early this week, James Blake annouced the new album title: ‘Radio Silence’ is the follow-up to 2013’s Overgrown. The album is rumored to feature contributions from Kanye West and Justin Vernon.
3 – Beach House – (TBA)
Nothing has been announced about an official new album, but the dream pop duo Beach House played last October at Monreal a brand new song (the second new one since 2012’s Bloom). This two new songs are for sure an indicator of things to come as the band just finished a short Canadian tour.
2 – Bjork – (TBA)
Just days after Bjork announced her upcoming album, ‘Vulnicura’, the LP has already leaked, two months ahead of its planned March release date. According to the leaked tracklist, Antony Hegarty of Antony and the Johnsons will appear on one track. This will affect how and when ‘Vulnicura’ is ultimately released.
1 – Radiohead – (TBA)
Radiohead took a year off in 2014, during that time, Thom Yorke focused on Atoms for Peace, Jonny Greenwood worked with orchestras, Philip Selway prepped a new solo album, and Colin Greenwood did some charity work. It seems that they are getting back to work. In November, Radiohead were in the studio working on new album. According to Johnny Greenwood, band are trying ‘different’ approaches.
