Most Anticipated Albums For 2018
2017 was a great year for music and if the first few months are anything to go by then 2018 will be too. Some huge acts have already released new music since the turn of the year and we can expect many more to follow suit in the coming months. Few have actually set a date but some of the biggest artists on the planet have hinted that a new release is coming in 2018. Let’s take a look of some of the most anticipated albums of 2018.
Kanye West hasn’t released new music since 2016’s The Life of Pablo and the world is well overdue another album. Yeezus works in mysterious ways and while a fixed date has not been set, there are reports that West is applying the finishing touches to music which he wants to release “very soon.”
Just weeks after announcing second joint-tour with rapper Jay-Z, many believe that Beyonce will release seventh studio album in 2018. The former Destiny’s Child star is also scheduled to headline Coachella this summer and wouldn’t that just be a great opportunity to drop new music?
Snoop Dogg’s 16th studio album is scheduled for release in March 2018 and there is a major feeling of sheer curiosity amongst fans. Snoop stated last year that this new record will be unlike anything he has ever released before. He remarked that he wanted the album to be “available in Bitcoin and delivered in a drone”. Here’s a Bitwin Bitcoin Welcome Offer if you want to get your hands on Snoop’s latest release.
The Sheffield-born rockers haven’t released a studio album since 2013’s AM and fans are eager for more of the Arctic Monkeys. Monkeys are already scheduled to headline a whole host of festivals this summer as well as a brief European tour. When asked, drummer Matt Helders apparently told a fan that new music is coming out in May. We’ll just have to wait and see if there is any truth in that.
It becomes something of an Internet event whenever Frank Ocean so much as hints that he may one day release a song but it seems that we may get a whole new album in 2018. His second studio record, Blonde was released in 2016 and after teasing that some new music will be coming in 2018, Ocean released a cover of ‘Moon River’ in February. It would make sense for Ocean to release a new record this year considering some of his recent collaborations but, as with the rest of the entries on this list, we’ll have to wait and see what happens.
